Alethia Gomez is a three-time Latin Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, Music Victoria Award-nominated artist and multidisciplinary performer with over a decade of experience in music, theatre, and education.

Originally from Colombia and now based in Australia, she brings a rich, culturally diverse approach to vocal coaching, performance, and creative expression.

Alethia began her teaching journey at a young age, working with the children of musicians she collaborated with during her university years. Since then, she has developed over 10 years of experience guiding students of all ages—from young children (4+) to adults—across beginner to advanced levels.

Alethia offers lessons in both English and Spanish, creating a unique space where students can also connect with language through music. Her bilingual approach supports those who wish to learn or practice Spanish in a creative way, as well as those who feel a deep connection to their cultural roots and want to explore their voice in their native language.

Her teaching approach goes beyond technique. She integrates vocal training with body expression, stagecraft, and emotional connection, helping students build confidence and authenticity as performers. She also incorporates elements of music therapy, using singing as a tool for emotional expression and social connection, working with individuals seeking support through creative practices.

In addition to one-on-one coaching, Alethia facilitates women’s circles and vocal activation workshops, focusing on breathwork, voice liberation, and self-expression. She has collaborated with communities such as Feel Good Flows and also leads independent sessions that combine spirituality, creativity, and healing.

As a performer, Alethia has an extensive background in live music, musical theatre, and television. A multidisciplinary performer trained in singing, acting, and dance, she brings a strong triple-threat foundation to both stage and screen. She was a finalist on The Voice Colombia and has performed as a lead singer, actress, and dancer in multiple productions across Colombia, the United States, and Australia. Her artistry is deeply rooted in storytelling, emotion, and connection.

Alethia holds a Bachelor of Music Performance and a Master of Arts in Creative Industries from JMC Academy in Melbourne. She is also skilled in music production (Logic Pro & Ableton Live), guitar accompaniment, and voice acting. Passionate, dedicated, and intuitive, Alethia creates a supportive and inspiring environment where students can explore their voice, develop their skills, and connect with their true artistic identity.
