Piano Lessons in Balaclava & Prahran with Stephanie Veber

I’m Stephanie, founder of SthSide Project, and I’ve been teaching piano and languages to students of all ages for more than 13 years. From my home studio in Balaclava, I offer piano lessons that are designed to build strong musical foundations while also fostering curiosity, confidence, and a genuine enjoyment of music.

I work with students learning for leisure as well as those preparing for exams and further study, including AMEB, ANZCA and Con Brio. I believe all students should learn to read music and develop solid technical skills, but I also believe lessons should be enjoyable and that students should feel a sense of ownership and direction in the repertoire they learn.

Growing up in a Hungarian-Australian family, I was surrounded by languages, music, and culture from an early age. That background shaped my love of the arts and my belief in their power to connect people, encourage expression, and enrich learning. Through SthSide Project, I aim to create a warm and thoughtful learning environment where students can progress steadily and develop a lasting connection with music.
