Hi, Iām Stephanie Veber.
Founder of SthSide Project, Stephanie has always been inspired by the way music and languages connect people and cultures. Growing up in a Hungarian-Australian family and surrounded by languages from an early age, she developed a deep love for learning about other cultures, a passion that has shaped her career.
Stephanie has been teaching Japanese and Spanish in Melbourne schools since 2016 and has also tutored Japanese, Spanish, and English (EAL) for much longer. Alongside her work as a language teacher, she began teaching piano in 2010 and has since shared her love of music with students of all ages and abilities.
Bringing these passions together, Stephanie created SthSide Project as a space where music, languages, and the arts meet, a place to explore creativity, culture, and connection.
My Approach
Teaching students to love music and languages, be curious and encourage passion, Stephanie has taught students of all ages for more than 13 years. She teaches students who want to learn for leisure, as well as those who are keen to do exams and further their studies in music including AMEB, ANZCA and Con Brio. Stephanie believes that all students should learn to read music, but that lessons should be enjoyable and that students feel they have some direction in the repertoire they learn.
